B&C Residential Garage Door Warranty
This warranty is for the original door owner and property and is non-transferable
Limited Lifetime Warranty
All new B&C garage door installations come with a Clopay Gold Bar Limited Lifetime Warranty on rollers, springs, hinges, and doors. This Warranty helps ensure the best quality door components and long-term performance. If the materials are covered under the warranty, a B&C Garage Door technician will repair or replace the defective part at no charge for labor or parts.
If any operational or functional issues with a new B&C Garage Door installation are caused by defects in workmanship or labor performed by B&C Garage Door Technicians. B&C Garage Door will correct any defective workmanship at no charge for labor or parts.
Warranty Conditions
If a valid claim is made under this Warranty, B&C Garage Door will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective Product,

Replace the defective part or Product with a new part or Product of equal or greater value or
-
Refund the original purchase price of the Product.
Under this warranty, the company’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund. Unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
Transferability
This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Customer and the residence where the Product was initially installed.
Maintenance Requirements
To maintain this Warranty, the Customer must:

Periodically clean and inspect the Product as outlined in the Product manual.

Lubricate moving parts (e.g., hinges, rollers, and springs) as the manufacturer recommends.

Promptly address any issues or damages caused by acts unrelated to material or labor defects to prevent further deterioration.
Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover:

Non-Residential Use: Products installed in commercial, industrial, or non-residential applications.

Improper Installation: Defects or damages from installation by a party other than B&C Garage Door or its authorized representatives.

Improper Maintenance or Use: Damages caused by failure to follow the maintenance guidelines outlined in the product manual or by misuse, abuse, negligence, or alterations to the Product.

Environmental Factors: Damages from exposure to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or corrosive environments.

Normal Wear and Tear: Includes but is not limited to minor scratches, dents, and general cosmetic changes that do not affect the product's structural integrity.

Unauthorized Repairs: Damages caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
How To Make A Claim
To make a claim under this Warranty, the Customer must:

Provide proof of purchase, including the original receipt or invoice.

Provide a brief description of the problem to the email address above.

Provide pictures of the alleged damage to the email above.

Allow B&C Garage Door or its authorized representative reasonable access to inspect the Product and determine the claim's validity.
If a valid claim is made under this Warranty, B&C Garage Door will, at its discretion:

Replace the defective part or Product with a new part or Product of equal value or
-
Refund the original purchase price of the Product.
B&C Garage Door’s liability under this Warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund stated above. Unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
